A great deal of the discussion around Open Research focuses on Science, Technology, and Medical subject areas. However, there is just as much opportunity for Social Science and Humanities researchers to see the benefits of being more open with their research process.
In this session we will look at the Open Research publishing model and consider how it can be applied to the Social Science and Humanities research workflow. Attendees will learn about the main concepts of sharing data, sharing materials, methods and code; preprints; and open peer review.
The session will be a good introduction to the concepts of Open Research for Social Science & Humanities researchers, librarians, heads of faculty, and other research professionals. We’ll also share best practice and advice for researchers with all levels of experience in publishing their research.
